"In business, athletics or any achievement driven endeavor, it's plainly evident exceptional coaches and leaders get great results from their teams. Yet, in spite of all we know, not enough emphasis is placed upon improving the skills that are critical to leadership and coaching success."  Bill Eckstrom, Founder and Presdient, EcSELL Institute

Here is an overview of what you will do at the 2010 Sales Management Summit!

The EcSELL Institute Sales Management Summit will focus on the critical aspects of sales leadership and coaching.

The Summit starts with a broad perspective of the sales management profession while an industry expert discusses its future evolution.  We then look at specific examples of what makes a coach extraordinary.  Next we examine what characteristics and talents that make a good leader versus a manager versus a coach. Each attendee will have the opportunity to examine his/her own unique strengths and weaknesses in each area using a scientific, in-depth personality assessment tool which is validated by nearly a half-century of research. Learning from each other is one of the most powerful experiences the EcSELL Institute Summit offers. In the afternoon attendees will be broken into two groups with one focusing on coaching coaches and the other one focusing on coaching sales reps. Each peer group will share best practices, insights, and experiences on the unique challenges of their sales management role.

A friendly cocktail party kicks off the evening events. After the festivities, groups of eight will have the option to dine at a variety of local restaurants to discuss topics relating to sales management.  These Dinner Discussion Groups are an excellent way to build a professional network of friends while learning continues in a more casual atmosphere.

During the following day, attendees are presented a powerful tool that can be used to capture all the ideas presented during the Summit and then develop an individual action plan that will drive performance improvement and sales results.
