One of my favorite things to do in the airport and at the FedEx/Kinko's store is read the latest business book titles. Their bombastic titles, flashy covers, and over-the-top claims make me shake my head. Before you waste your precious reading time, and $29.95, take a look at this article Choosing Business Books.pdf
Good points made:
1) Find out what your friends and colleagues are reading
2) If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!
3) Endulge your Adult ADD - start at the end (of the chapters), and look for lists
4) Jot down key ideas in a journal
5) Share ideas with others
At EcSELL Institute, we're all about building a community of sales professionals who can share ideas. Let us know some of the best and WORST business books you've read lately. We carefully select the resources we offer to our members, and offer no opinions - so no time wasters!
I can't wait to hear from you!
