I came across an article in one of the LinkedIn Groups I belong to. It was written by a gentleman by the name of Bill Todd.
Trying to reach prospects has become more and more challenging as technology has created more and more opportunities to communicate with each other. We have email, text, Facebook, LinkedIn, My Space, blogs, social site etc. Just trying to keep up with all of these is a challenge, yet the reality is, this is the direction that communication is going. - like it or not.
So the next time you feel frustrated because someone didn't see your email, just reflect on these statistics from Bill Todd's article.

- 2.8 million emails are sent every second
- That means that every single day over 247 emails are transmitted
- An additional 2.5 billion+ text messages are being transmitted every day
